Bits of everything else.

Below: At age 29, I was fortunate to have a hysterectomy after over half a lifetime of undiagnosed pelvic pain. A long time coming and a major step towards affirming bodily autonomy and self-care. This trio were part of my reflection leading up to surgery.

Below: For an assignment at TAFE, we translated other artists’ illustrations onto our own work and in our own way. With the help of my teacher, Tim Fry, and his stencil cutter, I recreated in underglazes and exposed clay an illustration by one of my favourite local artists – Phoebe Paradise. Only fitting to take photos of this amongst the jacaranda flowers and the Gabba icons.
